Recent work conducted by our team aiming to improve care for individuals with serious mental illnesses such as schizophrenia when they become seriously medically ill and/or approach the end of their lives was highlighted by PsychiatricNews! PsychiatricNews is the American Psychiatric Association's newsletter and has a wide reach. We're grateful to the APA for helping us spread the word about the need for higher quality and more equitable care for people struggling with serious medical and mental health challenges concurrently.
